The MMSU Office for Strategic Communication (StratCom) visited the University of the Philippines Diliman Information Office (UPDIO) in Quezon City on August 29 for an exchange of best practices in public information management.

The MMSU delegation, composed of Information Services Chief Maria Kathrina Ysabel Antonio and Information Officer Crisdeniele Clemente, was warmly welcomed by UPDIO Director Prof. Jose Carlo de Pano and UPDIO staff members.

During the benchmarking activity, Prof. de Pano discussed UP Diliman's organizational structure and initiatives. He also presented the various functions and services of the UPDIO. The delegates were given a comprehensive tour of UP Diliman's colleges and departments.

For their part, the MMSU delegation shared how the work of the Office for Strategic Communication has become diversified as it caters to growing needs of the university's stakeholders.

The UPDIO functions as the public information arm of UP Diliman, providing accurate, detailed, and timely updates on the university's plans, programs, and activities.
