Seven students from Mariano Marcos State University participated in the recently concluded launching of the International Skilling Program at the QIS College of Engineering and Technology in Andhra Pradesh, India, on October 6-10.
Selected for their excellent academic standing, the MMSU delegates were Jzyryl Rychnyl Carreon and Aira Faye Corpuz from the College of Engineering (COE) - Electronics Engineering program; Gabriel Andrei Adajar and Derek Luis Lagadon from the College of Computing and Information Sciences (CCIS) - Computer Science program; and Juniene Gwyneth Basilio, Aaron Joshua Agullana, and Marck Anthony Sabado from the CCIS - Information Technology program.
Organized by the QIS Educational Institutions, particularly its College of Engineering and Technology, the event is part of the bilateral cooperation for knowledge exchange under a signed memorandum of understanding with MMSU.
The program aims to upskill international delegates in advanced domains, including Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Internet of Things (IoT), Sustainable Engineering, Industry 3.0 to 5.0 Applications, and similar fields through lectures, workshops, collaborative research exposure, and industry visits.
This initiative supports MMSU’s international linkages along with its thrust to develop globally competitive and industry-ready graduates.
