New USC officers take oath

The newly-elected officers of the MMSU University Student Council (USC) took their oath of office before MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis today, August 12, in the Office of the University President. 


The group was led by USC executive chairperson John Lloyd Suguitan. Together with him were Rodel Domingo, executive vice chairperson; Rudy Coloma II, executive secretary; Christine Danica San Juan, secretary for finance; Karylle Ann Acosta, secretary for logistics; and councilors Angelo Josh Agcaoili (CAFSD), Randy Gianan, Jr. (CAS), Geremy Depdepen (CASAT), Karl Ramos (CBEA), Cara Joyce Aguinaldo (CHS), Vhaneza Solsoloy (CIT), Lindsay Sumaoang (COE), Nika Gabrielle Alejandro (CTE), Mikaela Baraoidan (LHS Laoag), Alexie Nikolai Lorenzo (LHS Batac), and Ivan Christian Baltazar (LES). As USC president, Suguitan is also set to take his oath as member of the MMSU Board of Regents. His team will serve the organization for Academic Year 2022-2023. Prof. Maria Deleilah Adriatico, student development chief, will serve as USC adviser.


The officers were joined by Dr. Jan Rich Guira, student affairs and services director. PSCA congratulated the USC officers and encouraged them to help facilitate student development by conducting more relevant, sustainable and industry 4.0-geared activities. "I'm excited to work with you, young leaders, especially now that we are welcoming back all our students in campus," she added.


USC is the highest governing student body of MMSU that serves as link of students to the university administration. (HLY/JVBT/DPTJ, StratCom)
