MOU forged between MMSU and De La Salle University

Forging a link between the Green & Gold and the Green & White, the Mariano Marcos State University and De La Salle University – Center for Engineering and Sustainable Development Research, are set to embark on collaborative activities of mutual benefit.
DLSU-CESDR Director Alvin Culaba, who represented DLSU President Br. Bernard S. Oca, and MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis signed a Memorandum of Understanding today, May 5. The activity kickstarts a five-year engagement where the two universities will co-develop academic and educational activities. This includes exchange of faculty, researchers, students; conduct of lectures, symposia, and capacity-building programs; and, exchange of academic information materials.
In her message, Dr. Agrupis committed to work well with DLSU throughout the course of the agreement, “I see a clear path of collaboration and a bright future in this partnership as both our university are highly engaged in advancing sustainable development.”
“I hope that this MOU will bring DLSU and MMSU together in helping not only Ilocos Norte, not only to the country, but hopefully to share our knowledge and experience to the whole world,” Dr. Culaba remarked.
The MOU signing was witnessed by Dr. Andres Mayol, DLSU associate professor, Engr. Darius Diamante, DLS-CESDR research assistant, Balik-Scientist Dr. Sergio Capareda, MMSU officials, and MMSU faculty and students. (HLY/JVBT, StratCom)
