MMSU Nasudi Chorale secured another achievement after ranking 4th in the Philippines and 164th in the INTERKULTUR World Rankings, placing them among the Top 200 choirs globally.

These rankings are based on the points accumulated through their outstanding performances at INTERKULTUR events. INTERKULTUR is renowned for its rigorous standards and is recognized for using the Musica Mundi quality seal, which ensures that the rankings accurately reflect the current standing of participating choirs.

MMSU president and incoming CHED Commissioner Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis expressed her deep pride in the chorale’s achievements. “The Nasudi Chorale’s performance brought honor to MMSU and elevated the Philippines in the global choir community. This achievement reflects the high standards of excellence we aim for across our university’s academic and co-curricular programs, including the performing arts,” she stated.

Before this global achievement, the Nasudi Chorale made history by making MMSU the first State University from the Philippines to win an award at the World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand.

Under the expert direction of choirmaster Vince Louisse Salacup, the Nasudi Chorale continues to set high standards in choral music, contributing to its ongoing success and recognition.
