MMSU hailed best teacher education, forestry, and nursing school in PH for 2019
True to its commitment for academic excellence, MMSU emerged anew as one of the best elementary teacher education, forestry, and nursing schools in the Philippines in 2019.
Rated by the reputable Local Pulse (LP) website, MMSU is number five best elementary teacher education school, and number seven best forestry and nursing school with overall rating of 81.08%, 66.83%, and 79.68%, respectively.
The website ranked the schools in the country based on board examination performance (40%), number of examinees (20%), top examinees (10%), accreditation (20%), and faculty-student ratio (10%).
The LP uses these rankings to guide students who are planning to take any degree program in one of the colleges and universities in the country.
"These rankings are an important tool for parents, students, and schools seeking the right academic setting," the LP wrote.
The website added that other possible factors - international linkages, community involvement, employer reputation, research outputs, and research citations per faculty - which may affect school ranking are planned to be included in the next versions of school rankings.
