BOR opens slot for private sector representative

MMSU is looking for one Private Sector Representative (PSR) to its Board of Regents (BOR).

The search for a new PSR was due to the untimely death of Atty. Isidoro T. Pobre, a retired regional trial court judge in Ilocos Norte.

Prof. Luvee Hazel C. Aquino, acting BOR secretary, said that nominations and other supporting documents must be submitted to the Office of the Board Secretary on or before September 6.

These include duly accomplished and notarized nomination form, curriculum vitae, and original NBI clearance. The nomination form can be downloaded from https://www.mmsu.edu.ph/downl.../MMSU_PSR_NOMINATION_FORM.docx).

A PSR must not be connected with MMSU for two years prior to nomination, is not employed in any government agency, must at least 40 years old, Filipino with unquestioned integrity and probity, not convicted of any administrative offense or crime, must come from the industry and business sector, must have at least five years proven experience in a managerial position or corporate governance; and must have an extensive record of employment, business, expertise and connection with the private sector.

Applicants will be evaluated based on their achievements in profession or chosen field (30%), solid contributions to the community or country (40%), and experience (30%).  Interested applicants may contact the MMSU's acting board secretary at 007-600-0459 or email her via mmsu.univsec@gmail.com.
