The MMSU administrative council members and selected chiefs of offices convened today, August 28, for the 2023 Year-End and 2024 Midyear Performance Review at the Center for Flexible Learning as part of the university's ACHIEVE agenda.

Led by MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis, the review aimed to evaluate the accomplishments of all units during 2023 and the first half of 2024, to stay on track and achieve MMSU's set targets for 2024 and beyond.

Dr. Bobby Eclarin, knowledge management chief, discussed the university's accomplishments related to the 2023 and 2nd Quarter 2024 Program Expenditure Classification, which aids in monitoring and evaluating institutional programs.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sherlyn Nicolas, monitoring and evaluation chief, shared the ACHIEVE Journey from 2018-2023. Ms. Hazel Queen Sambo-Lanuza, institutional planning chief, presented the ACHIEVE report for year-end 2023 and midyear 2024.

During the review, college deans, office directors, and chiefs outlined their significant achievements and plans. Lead organizer and Planning Director Dr. Marlowe Aquino, summarized the university’s accomplishments, while Dr. Agrupis bid farewell as the incoming CHED Commissioner and provided insights for the way forward. The council organized a special tribute for Dr. Agrupis following the program.

Dr. Agrupis has issued a powerful challenge to the administrators of MMSU, urging them to maintain and build upon the university's achievements. Additionally, she has pledged consistent support for the institution as she prepares to transition into her new position at the national office.

This year’s review reaffirmed the university's commitment to achieving its goal of becoming University 4.0, positioning it as a global industry leader.
