The Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) continues to provide food rations to stranded students.

Through the Office of Student Affairs and Services, the university distributed the second batch of relief goods to its students who are stuck in their dormitories due to the COVID-19 crisis.

A total of 121 students received the following supplies: rice, antimicrobial soap, canned goods, eggs, bottled water. Each bag of goods is worth Php 500.

The University Student Council initiated to shoulder the said ration, charging it from the Student Body Organization Fund.

Mr. Jan Francis Javier, the director for security and monitoring, led the distribution in the city of Batac, while Mr. Robert A. Salvador, chairperson of the BS Industrial Technology program, distributed the goods to the stranded students in Laoag City.
