Graduate School<font style=\"font-family: Verdana; font-weight: bold;\" size=\"5\">New schedule of payment of school fees approved</font>
IN ITS REGULAR and first out-of-town meeting Sept. 30 in Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte, the Administrative Council approved a new schedule of payment of school fees effective second semester, AY 2008-2009.
In the new schedule, a student has two payment options: 1) full payment upon enrolment and 2) installment which is applicable to regular semesters only as a one-time payment is required during a summer term.
For non-CHS students who choose to pay on installment basis, the first installment is paid upon enrolment. This covers the miscellaneous, laboratory, Student Development Fund, and other fees representing 40 percent of the total school fees. The second installment is paid before the midterm examinations, covers 50 percent of the tuition fee, and represents 30 percent of the total school fees. The third installment is paid before the final examinations, covers the second 50 percent of the tuition fee, and represents the last 30 percent of the total school fees.
The CHS students also follow the same scheme with the following additional fees: first installment – base hospital/affiliation/assistance fee/1/3 RLE fee; second installment – 1/3 of the total RLE fee; and third installment – the lat 1/3 of the total RLE fee.
Meanwhile, the fine for late registration has also been lifted.
The new schedule of payment of school fees is one of the present administration’s initiatives to help parents and students cope with the current financial crisis.
