MMSU ranks 6th in civil engineer exam
THE COLLEGE of Engineering was recognized as 6th top performing civil engineering school in the country when 55 out its 66 graduates who took the December 2014 licensure examination passed, registering an 83.33 percent passing rate as against the 49.48 national passing record.
This remarkable feat came at a time when the college was celebrating a silent jubilee after it got a nod from the Accrediting Agency for Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines that it passed the requirements for a Level III reaccredited status in its civil engineering program.
Civil engineering graduates have been consistently turning in high passing percentages in the licensure examination given twice yearly by the Professional Regulation Commission. In fact, in the November 2013 test, a record high of 75 percent was also recorded by the graduates.
