MMSU produces 9 accountants
WHILE MOST prestigious tertiary schools in the country are dismayed on the performance of their graduates in the recent Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountant, MMSU is rejoicing for garnering 81.82 percent passing rate, a feat that most schools was not able to get.
“This remarkable record has surpassed the national passing percentage of 35.78 percent,” said CBEA Dean Lorna Olivia F. Salmasan.
Nine out of 11 passed the examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) in key cities around the country on May 10-17.
The new accountants are: Djahmae Agullana, Claudette Carylle Ignacio, Ronalyn Tagudin, Emil James Tanagon, Princess Mae Labao, Ritchelle Lorenzo, Chase Francine Pagtaconan, Charmaine Zeny Rasos, and Marc Sumaco.
According to the Professional Regulation Commission, 5,959 took the exam where in 2,132 passed.
The date and venue of the oath-taking ceremony will be announced later.
