Dr. Jan Rich Guira, director of MMSU Office of Student Affairs and Services, was elected as president of the Philippine Association of Practitioners of Student Affairs and Services, Inc. (PASPAS) in Region I. Prof. Maria Deleilah Adriatico, chief for student development, was also elected as regional secretary. They will serve the association for two years. 

The new officers took oath at the close of the 27th PASPAS National Convention and Training Workshop on November 19 at the Chali Beach Resort and Convention Center in Cagayan De Oro City.  

PASPAS is the official national association of student affairs and services practitioners in the country. It is committed to the development of Filipino educators through the conduct of effective and relevant programs and activities. (HLY/JVBT/DPTJ, StratCom)
