It gets better each time.

MMSU is rank 14 among 179 nursing schools in the country with 100 or more examinees. The university is still number one in the region in the said category.

This was based on the university’s performance as to percentage passing in the November 2008 Licensure Examination for Nurses released by the Professional Regulation Commission.

This developed as 95 graduates passed the said board examination given on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 last year recording a 77 percent overall passing mark for MMSU. A total of 123 graduates took the test.

Of the 95 passers, 89 took the examination for the first time and turned in an 83 percent passing rating. The rest were repeaters who registered a passing figure of only 38 percent.
