𝘉𝘺 𝘙𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘯 𝘚. 𝘗𝘶𝘯𝘻𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯

To recalibrate in ACHIEVE-ing its set targets this year, administrative council members and selected chiefs of offices of the Mariano Marcos State University convened for the 2022 Midyear Performance Review and Planning which started today, August 15, at the Asaricha Tropical Beach Resort Inc. in Pasuquin, Ilocos Norte. It will last until Wednesday, August 17.

Led by University President Shirley C. Agrupis, the activity aims to review accomplishments of all units during the first half of the year, in order stay on track and achieve MMSU’s set targets for 2022. To create catch-up plans for slippages, PSCA is joined in the panel by university vice-presidents, Dr. Prima Fe R. Franco, academic affairs; Dr. Oscar M. Agpaoa, administration and finance; Dr. Nathaniel R. Alibuyog, research, extension and business; and Engr. Ami Ruth R. Cocson, planning and development. The review will look into specific accomplishments along PSCA’s 7-point agenda ACHIEVE.

Office directors and chiefs are also set to present their respective milestones and strategies during the three-day activity. Today, Dr. Bobby A. Eclarin, knowledge management chief, presented the university’s general accomplishments in line with the 2022 Program Expenditure Classification (PREXC). The PREXC facilitates the monitoring and evaluation of institutional programs by identifying output and outcome performance indicators, along with budgets and results.

Furthermore, the Midyear review will tackle the university’s goal to become University 4.0, propelling the university to fit as a global industry as it recovers from the pandemic.  The midyear performance review will also initiate the budget planning for 2023 which will be led by Dr. Agpaoa.  (𝙃𝙇𝙔/𝙅𝙑𝘽𝙏, 𝙎𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙩𝘾𝙤𝙢)
