Upholding effective and efficient management, officials of the Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) convened at the Function Hall on Wednesday (February 10) for the 2020 Management Review.

Led by MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis, along with the university vice presidents, the activity aimed to present and assess the performance of the school’s management systems in the past year.

In the meeting, the officials first tackled the status of actions from the previous management review, and the changes in external and internal issues as indicated in the MMSU’s Quality Management System (QMS) Manual.

Afterwhich, they reviewed the performance and effectiveness of the MMSU QMS through the following inputs: customer satisfaction and feedback from relevant interested parties; review of process performance and conformity of MMSU services; audit findings (internal and external); and performance of external providers.

Moreover, they talked about the adequacy of MMSU resources by presenting the project procurement management plan (PPMP), on-going projects, and other resource needs.

Further, they evaluated the effectiveness of actions taken to address risks and opportunities and formulated the methods for continual improvement of the university system.

Pres. Agrupis thanked the university administrators for their collective efforts in championing a responsive and innovative operation and management with integrity, transparency, and consistency.

She encouraged the university administrators to sustain the conduct of management review as a part of MMSU’s quality and excellence-driven culture.

Effective and efficient management in the university is one of ACHIEVE agenda of the present MMSU leadership. (StratCom)
