<font style=\"font-weight: bold;\" size=\"5\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">MMSU IS COUNTRY\'S TOP PT SCHOOL</span></font><br>
Physical therapy (PT) graduates once again turned in a high passing record in the 2009 Licensure Examination for Physical and Occupational Therapists making the university the number one PT school in the country with 16 and above examinees and with at least 85 percent passing mark.
Twenty-three of the 27 examinees from the university passed the said licensure examination garnering an 85.19 percent passing mark. The national passing record was 52.26 percent representing 335 passers of 641 examinees.
The new physical therapists are: Melanie Abon, Chiquola Aguinaldo, Loy Arwin Bagaoisan, Chester Jayce Camalig, Gerald Lester Caoili, Love Joy Carrasca, Czarina Cruz, Gay Inocelda, Emyanne Lagmay, Herbert Gregory Madamba, Xylene Mangrubang, Lyn Medrano, Joan Aimee Pacial, Keesen Patrick Pambid, Odessa Robin Tacimo, Marc Jayson Saguiguit, Emery Keith Santos, Mercy Sol, Clarefel Sulit, Nona Torqueza, Jeffrey Ulit, Ellaine Valentin, and Edmund Paul John Valentin.
They will take their oath before the board of PT on March 8 at the Sofitel Philippine Plaza in Pasay City. It will also be here where the university will receive its award as top-performing PT school in the country.
In 2007, the university was also recognized as number one PT school in the country with ten or more examinees and with at least 75 percent passing rating. It was also in that examination that passers occupied the first, second, third, and seventh places in the list of top ten examinees.
Last year, Aldwin G. Gregorio garnered the top place in the licensure examination outshining a passer from UP-Manila who settled only for the second top place.
