MMSU is 2022 Performance-Based Bonus eligible
The Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) is 2022 PBB eligible, garnering 90 points in four PBB criteria, namely performance results, process results, financial results, and citizen/client satisfaction results.
For FY 2022, PBB sustained its focus on results, especially on the delivery of agency performance commitments and optimum utilization of agency budget, and made the roles of agencies in ensuring accountability for the results of their delivery units stronger. PBB is an initiative to measure and evaluate agency performance, highlighting the public’s satisfaction with the quality of public service delivery and utilization of resources and strengthening agency stewardship.
The evaluation showed that MMSU got a perfect score (25) in process results and client satisfaction results. Process results include MMSU’s compliance with RA 11032 or Ease of Doing Business. There were substantial improvements to ease of transaction in priority core service, both external and internal. Likewise, the university was able to sustain its ISO 9001:2015 certification in the provision of advanced, professional, and higher education, research, extension, and support services. Moreover, no complaints were received from either #8888 or Contact Center ng Bayan platforms regarding the services delivered by the MMSU constituents, which implies client satisfaction.
For 2022, each agency must satisfy four criteria and conditions under the four dimensions of accountability, attain a total score of at least 70 points, and achieve a minimum rating of 4 in at least three of the given criteria.
MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis stressed that as MMSU achieves various accomplishments on its way to becoming a premier Philippine university by 2028, it should embody excellence, accountability, and transparency in service delivery.
