The MMSU Curriculum Development and Innovative Learning (CDIL) directorate conducted a curriculum audit of various university programs to assess the current status of curriculum, student experience, faculty performance, teaching and learning environments, and internationalization and accreditation efforts.

The audit, which ran from January 4 to March 26, 2024, involved the College of Agriculture, Food, and Sustainable Development, College of Arts and Sciences, College of Business, Economics, and Accountancy, College of Computing and Information Sciences, College of Health Sciences, College of Engineering, College of Veterinary Medicine, and College of Arts and Sciences and Applied Technology.
The results from the previous audit were presented during the Academic Executive Committee meeting on April 23, 2024, highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for enhancement.

Meanwhile, Dr. Ronald Candy Lasaten, CDIL director, reiterated the university’s commitment to delivering relevant and quality education, ensuring graduates are equipped to thrive in an ever-changing global landscape.

The curriculum audit aims to meet the standards set by educational authorities, check the alignment with the latest standards and guidelines in education, identify the relevance to future job market needs, maintain continuous improvement in curriculum delivery, and ensure accountability to stakeholders and resource utilization.

During the audit process, deans, department chairs, and college secretaries were present.
Scheduled to conclude in July 2024, the audit results will serve as bases for curriculum revisions and enhancements, aligning education delivery with evolving demands and standards.
