Take a break from the adrenaline rush those ball games and track and field events give you. Relax for a moment and set your focus on this lovely pairs.
The hyped-up University of Northern Philippines (UNP) Wolves have chosen Agnes B. Rosal, a 3rd year BS-Accountancy student and Philip Pajara Gabay, a BSBA Major in Management Accounting II student as their Muse and Escort.
Gabay, 18, is deeply into sports. His personal favorite, running. He won various awards in his school for track and field events. Opposite Gabay is Rosal. She is not as athletic as Gabay, but she is just as well versed in sports as he is. Rosal confidentially admitted that she’s single at 18, and being a muse, \"I feel overwhelmed and happy because among all the thousands of students, I was chosen to represent our university\". She focuses on her studies, devoting little time in extracurricular activities.
Both are into joining beauty pageants, even up to the national level. They joined the Philippine Association State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) where Gabay was crowned Mr. PASUC.
As muse of UNP, Rosal is expecting something in common for all the contending teams, \"I expect camaraderie among the five schools to enhance sports ability of the athletes.\" When both of them were asked to give their message to the athletes, Gabay stressed that \"Just do your best and go for the gold. Whatever the results are, just be happy and be proud that you are representing your school. However, winning in events is always a great consolation\".

SCUAA doesn’t only focus on athletics and games but also to beauty.
Arianne Rae Rubio and Fil-Anne Ruiz, both third year nursing students, are known at MMSU for having the proverbial \"beauty and brains.\" At the last Mr. and Ms. University tilt, Rubio grabbed the title while Ruiz emerged as a runner-up.
During his days at the MMSU University High School, Rubio also brought home coveted titles at the Mr. Lakandula pageant, and at the Search for Mr. Batac Interhigh. A veteran in beauty pageants, Ruiz was college muse during the MMSU Unigames held last September.
Asked about their insights on the upcoming SCUAA, they confidently said that MMSU has a big chance in clinching the crown for the seventh consecutive time.
Rubio, a member of the badminton varsity team, believes that the edge of the MMSU players is their skills and teamwork. \"As a matter of fact, two months before the event, nagsimula na kaming mag-prepare, kaya ensayadong-ensayado na ang team\". Being an athlete, he says his schedule is hectic, balancing his time between training and academics. \"Five to eight hours ‘yung practice. And when we go home, gabi na.\"
The pair advises athletes: \"Do your best. Don’t get nervous and be confident in every game. Always espouse the same excellence that has made MMSU the well-respected university it is today.\" (Nestor Corrales, Abigail Domingo, RB Tarriga, Rammil Baltazar, and Mia Paz)
