Forestry grads score 100% in board exam
MMSU scored a whopping 100 percent passing in the Forestry Licensure Examination administered on Aug. 2-3. The national passing mark is only 47.97 percent.
The Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University and Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, two other schools offering BS Forestry in Region I, obtained ratings of 50 and 42.86 percent, respectively.
The new foresters are: Roel B. Cacal, Clifford T. Daguimol, Kenneth John B. Laureta, Rhoel V. Marcelo (cum laude), and Girlie Jane B. Silvania.
Dr. Joselito Rosario, chair of the Forestry Department, said the conduct of review classes and mock examination prove effective in preparing students for the licensure examination. (By Dr. Patricia R. Reyes)
