<B><P align=left><FONT face=Verdana size=5>Designees take oath</FONT></P></B>

Designees to various positions in the university took their oath of office before University President Miriam E. Pascua, June 8, at the University Training Center.

Appointed as vice presidents were Dr. Stanley C. Malab for Research and Extension, and Dr. Heraldo L. Layaoen for planning, development and external linkages. Dr. Alegria T. Visaya serves as university and board secretary.

Assuming deanship of the different colleges are: Engr. Ami Ruth T. Rivera of the College of Engineering; Dr. Carmelo J. Esteban, College of Agriculture and Forestry; Dr. Joselito L. Lolinco, College of Arts and Sciences; Prof. Facundo B. Asia, College of Aquatic Sciences and Applied Technology; Prof. Lailani S. Galutira, College of Health Sciences; Dr. Cesario Y. Pacis, College of Industrial Technology; Dr. Eduardo T. Borja, College ofTeacher Education; Dr. Ninfa S. Asia, College of Business, Economics and Accountancy, Atty. Ramon A. Leaño, College of Law; and Dr. Carlos M. Pascual, Graduate School. Dr. Anabelle C. Felipe is dean for instruction.

Dr. Jovenita A. Aragon, Prof. Vicente A. Trinidad, and Prof. Myrna A. Sacro, assume as principals of the Laboratory Elementary School, the Laboratory High School (LHS) in Laoag, and the LHS- Science curriculum in Batac, respectively.

Serving as directors are: Dr. Lucena R. Felipe for the University Library System; Dr. Nestor M. Agngarayngay, Security and Monitoring System; Dr. Josephine R. Domingo, University Manpower Development Program; Ms. Rosemarie T. Ulep, Financial Management Services; Engr. Romeo R. Duldulao, Physical Planning and General Services; Dr. Shirley C. Agrupis, Planning and External Affairs; Ms. Emile Kathleen M. Aguilar, Communication and Media Relations (CMR); Dr. Wilma C. Natividad, Admissions Office and University Registrar; Prof. Henedine A. Prof. Sosima R. Demandante and Prof. Elmer P. Blanco were appointed as program coordinators of satellite campuses for CAF Dingras and CIT Paoay, respectively.
