CAS receives face masks from party-list
By DANIEL P. TAPAOAN, JR.
The MMSU College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) received 100 pieces of surgical face masks from Probinsyano Ako Party-list.
Mr. Cris Fernandez, consultant of the party-list, personally gave the face masks to Dr. Jan Rich Guira, an officer of the CAS Educators’ Society.
He said the face masks will be turned over today (May 15) to Dr. Marivic Alimbuyugen, CAS dean, for distribution to the college’s staff who are operating under skeleton workforce.
Faculty members of the college are also helping their stranded students amid the community quarantine.
In April, the various departments of CAS donated cash to the Office for Student Affairs and Services to buy basic needs of the stranded students of the university. (StratCom)
