In view of further ensuring peace and order inside the campus, the Security and Monitoring Services (SMS) Office has introduced new measures, and is reinforcing the implementation of existing regulations.

All visitors to the various colleges and offices are now required to register and secure a visitors pass from the guard on duty. Also, the \"No ID, no entry\" policy is being strictly implemented, and is to be followed by all students and employees of the university.

To ensure better monitoring, the different entry and exit points in the campus have been limited. Vehicles can now pass only through Gate 1 (fronting UTC) and one lane of the Twin Gate (leading to FEM Hall). This facilitates the checking of gate passes on vehicles.

Motorcycles with mufflers have been required to be equipped with ‘silencers’ to reduce noise pollution

Dr. Nestor M. Agngarayngay, new SMS director, says his office is continuously working on ways to ensure a safe learning environment for the university’s constituency.
