An alumna of the MMSU College of Agriculture, Food and Sustainable Development (CAFSD) donated Php 60,000 for the improvement of the reading room of the college campus in Dingras, Ilocos Norte.

Ms. Kristine Joy A. Agcanas, a BS Environmental Science graduate and the owner of KIJ construction, together with Ms. Girlie Jane B. Silvania, gave the amount to Dr. Jocelyn A. Bernabe, campus program coordinator. It was witnessed by Prof. Robert T. Barangan, in-charge of the CAFSD Dingras reading room, and college faculty member Dr. Sosima Demandante.

Barangan said the amount was used in buying a computer set with printer, and curtains, which were recently installed in the said room. 

“The donations are of great help to improve our campus reading room and to keep abreast with the Quality Management System (QMS) standards of the university,” he said. – by DP Tapaoan, Jr.
