6 new designations bared
FOLLOWING the retirement of academic affairs vice president Wilma C. Natividad on Jan. 21, designations to four positions were made by President Miriam E. Pascua through Special Order No. 15-006.
Effective Jan. 22 until May 31 this year, Dr. Prima Fe R. Franco was assigned as the new vice president for academic affairs; Dr. Nathaniel R. Alibuyog, vice president for research and extension; Dr. Aris Reynold V. Cajigal, director for extension; and Dr. Marilou P. Lucas, director for research and the Higher Education Regional Research Center (HERRC). Of the four designees, only Dr. Cajigal assumes a university-wide administrative post for the first time. He was college secretary of CTE.
Prior to their new assignments, Dr. Franco was vice president for research and extension; Dr. Alibuyog, director for research; and Dr. Lucas, director for extension.
In another Special Order, Ms. Mary Leane D. Payduan was assigned as Personnel section head at the Human Resource Management Office.
Earlier, Prof. Johnson Modesto A. Blanco was designated as director of the Security and Monitoring Services office, previously headed by Prof. Reynario B. Riambon whose family migrated abroad.
