Showcasing their athletic and artistic talents, and rekindling friendships with their colleagues in other institutions, 188 employees of Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) join the 10th Association of State Colleges and University - Solid North (ASCU-SN) Midyear Festival 2023. 

They are among the 3,500 delegates from 22 SUCs in Regions I, II, III, and the Cordillera Administrative Region who are engaging in friendly sports competitions, indigenous games, and cultural contests from June 25-29 at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) in Camiling, Tarlac. 

MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis, also the ASCU-SN president, expressed hopes this year’s event will strengthen the relationship among the Solid North tertiary schools.For his part, TAU President Max Guillermo thanked the ASCU-SN for the trust it has given to TAU to host the midyear festival. 

Apart from MMSU and TAU, other ASCU-SN members joining the week-long festival come from Apayao State College, Batanes State College, Benguet State University, Bulacan State University, Cagayan State University, Central Luzon State University, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Ifugao State University, Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College, Isabela State University, Kalinga State University, Mountain Province State Polytechnic College, Nueva Vizcaya State University, Pampanga State Agricultural University, Pangasinan State University, President Ramon Magsaysay State University, Quirino State University, Tarlac State University, University of Abra, and the University of Northern Philippines.
