SMART Communications is currently giving away free specially designed MMSU SIM cards to all interested students of the university.

According to Mr. Bong Gamboa, Smart Solutions consultant, the MMSU Smart Sim is loaded with a lot of features and discounts. Using it, unlimited Smart-to-Smart text costs only P10 while unlimited text to all networks is charged P15. The regular rates for these services are P20 and P25, respectively.

Also, if the subscriber is able to load an accumulated amount of at least P159 every month, he is entitled, each month for a period of one year, with 300 free texts to all networks and 20 call minutes to Smart, Talk and Text, and Red Mobile subscribers.

On top of these, subscribers will be able to receive free announcements and broadcasts from the university. Eventually, an MMSU Menu in the Sim Card can be made operational for more services. In some universities where Smart has a tie up, students can check their class schedules, examination schedules, and grades using their mobile phones.  

Only two thousand SIM Cards are currently available for distribution on a first-come, first-served basis, but Gamboa says they could deliver more if needed.

Smart booths are located at the left side of the university oval in the duration of the Unigames, Nov. 8-11.
