MMSU, ISAT U ink MOU for academic exchange

In an effort to sustain their fruitful partnership, Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) and the Iloilo Science and Technology University (ISAT U) signed a memorandum of understanding for academic exchanges this morning, March 20.
ISAT U convened with its partner higher education institutions around the country, including MMSU, for the simultaneous virtual MOU signing.
To take effect in five years, the agreement will enable participating schools to promote i student, faculty, researcher, academic information, and publications exchanges; collaborative research projects, credit transfers, team teaching, and other activities that would be mutually agreed upon by the parties.
MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis and Dr. Nathaniel Alibuyog, vice president for research, extension, and business, represented the university. On behalf of ISAT U, President Raul F. Muyong and Dr. Nemia H. Mabaquiao, vice president for external affairs, signed the MOU.
On January 11 this year, officials from ISAT U visited various offices and units in MMSU to benchmark with our best practices on internationalization.
Other ISAT U partners include Agusan Del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology, Abra Institute of Sciences and Technology, Camarines Sur Polytechnic Colleges, Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University, Eastern Visayas State University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, Tarlac State University, Urdaneta City University, and University of Luzon.
