COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING – Fifth year civil engineering students sponsored a seminar on “Trends in Structural Engineering Designs Using High End Software as a Tool” last Feb. 26 as part of their CE 199 (Field Trips and Seminar) subject.

Engr. Gerry Alviento, professor of Mapua Institute of Technology and reviewer of Experts Review Center, served as speaker in the half day activity at the University Training Center. It was attended by CE faculty members and fourth and fifth year students.

The said class also released during the seminar the second edition of the Novice Builders, the annual publication of BSCE V students as well as of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers Student Chapter.
