71.43% pass electrical engineer exam
FIFTEEN of 21 MMSU graduates hurdled the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examination held Sept. 10-12 in Manila. The university’s passing rate of 71.43 percent surpassed the national average of 58.02 percent. The results were released in two days after the last day of examinations.
Of the 16 who passed, 13 were 2011 graduates while two were re-takers from previous batches. Five fresh graduates and one re-taker did not make it.
The new electrical engineers are: Emmanuel Joy C. Aniñon, Maylanie T. Balmaceda, James Ryan M. Baraoidan, Ronel Jasen P. Biri, Emerson P. Calma, Renalyn U. De Guzman, James Fernel T. Labasan, Mark Ryan M. Maoirat, Brehim A. Menorca, Wilbert C. Muan, Ronald B. Nefalar, Darrel D. Pasalo, Daniel M. Rasay, Michael John D. Tadifa, and Rafael S. Valencia.
Also, all three MMSU graduates who took the Registered Master Electrician Examination made it: Farley P. Cajigal, Junald G. Riquelman, and Christopher C. Sierra. MMSU’s 100-percent passing rate is in stark contrast to the national average of only 38.95 percent.
