Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) employees can now avail themselves of various financial services from the Bank of the Philippine Islands–Legaspi Savings Bank (BPI-LSB). This was announced during the signing of a memorandum of agreement on April 21 at the Center for Flexible Learning.
The MOA was signed between MMSU President Virgilio Julius P. Manzano, Jr., and BPI-LSB President Jerome Minglana.
An orientation on availing the different services was also conducted for interested employees.
MMSU President Manzano thanked BPI-LSB for the opportunity and encouraged employees to become more financially responsible. “Even with a list of choices, we must always practice responsible handling of money,” he said.
Witnessing the agreement, MMSU Vice President for Administration and Finance Fides Bernardo Bitanga described the partnership as an initiative to provide financial flexibility for university staff.
“This partnership gives our employees more choices and allows them to make better decisions in life,” he said.
BPI-LSB President Minglana expressed his gratitude for the new partnership. “BPI-LSB is here to help the MMSU community in their financial endeavors,” he said. He also encouraged employees to reach out to the institution for financial advice.
