MMSU joins CIEE 2018 in Shanghai
MMSU joined other 11 Philippine universities in the China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, China last November 5-10.
The Department of Trade and Industry, in collaboration with the Commission on Higher Education, organized on-site business-matching activities and university visits in the 11 universities that joined the CIIE.
The other universities are the Baliuag University in Bulacan, Central Philippine University in Iloilo City, Centro Escolar University, Far Eastern University, Holy Angel University in Pampanga, Isabela State University, Panpacific University in Urdaneta City, Pangasinan; Saint Paul University of the Philippines in Tuguegarao, Cagayan; Tarlac Agricultural University, and the University of Santo Tomas.
MMSU, along with the other universities will be featured in the Philippine National Pavilion as part of their participation in the CIIE.
Aside from the on-site business matching at the CIIE Philippine National Pavilion, the Philippine Trade and Investment Center in Shanghai will arrange visits to these universities for possible collaborations.
At CIIE, the MMSU promoted its undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as the English programs and the Language Center. According to estimates, there are at least 300-million to 350-million English language learners in China which presents a clear opportunity for MMSU's possible partnerships and linkages with reputable educational institutions in China.
