A total of 104 Grade 10 completers of MMSU Laboratory High Schools (LHS) for the academic year 2024-2025 of the Laoag and Batac campuses received their certificates of completion and awards during separate recognition and completion ceremonies on July 2 at the Teatro Ilocandia.

LHS Batac held its recognition and completion ceremony for its 40 completers in the morning. Dr. Aris Reynold Cajigal, MMSU vice president for academic affairs, and an alumnus of the LHS Batac class of 1997, served as the guest of honor and speaker.

In the afternoon, Engr. Carl Louise Saturnino, Staff Platform Engineer of Peatix Inc., class 1998 alumnus, served as the guest of honor and speaker to the 64 completers of LHS Laoag.

Leading this year’s batch of completers are Gabriel Onera of LHS Batac and Adrian Jed Cacao of LHS Laoag, both with high honors.

Senior high school student achievers in both campuses were also recognized during the program prior to the graduation ceremony to be held on July 4.

The MMSU Laboratory High School is under the supervision of the College of Teacher Education and is headed by its principal Prof. Philistia Mercuria Bagayas.
