GRADUATES of the MMSU Graduate School made it in two separate government licensure examinations in August.
Two graduates of Master of Arts in Education passed the Licensure Examination for Guidance Counselors given for the first time by the Professional Regulation Commission, Aug. 21-22. The institutional passing rate was 100 percent.
The newly licensed guidance counselors are: Elizabeth Marfel Gagni, member of Batch 2006 and MMSU CoE guidance counselor; and Rosalie Osalvo-Lingaling, member of Batch 2005 and guidance counselor of the Divine Word College of Laoag.
On the other hand, Dr. Jo Ann Corpuz, 1999 graduate of Doctor of Education and current supervisor of the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Burgos District, passed the 2008 School Superintendents Examination. She is one of only two passers from Ilocos Norte. Incidentally, the other passer is Vilma D. Eda, a 1993 secondary education graduate of the College of Teacher Education. She is currently the supervisor for mathematics of DepEd’s Ilocos Norte Division.
