<font style=\"font-weight: bold;\" size=\"5\"><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;\">4 pass exam for agri engineers</span><br style=\"font-family: Verdana;\"></font>
FOUR graduates passed the Licensure Examination for Agricultural Engineers given Aug. 19-20 by the Professional Regulation Commission. This performance registered a 40 percent passing rating for the university.
The national record was 37.74 percent representing 157 passers out of 416 examinees.
Chairman V. Julius P. Manzano Jr. of the agricultural engineering department of CAF reported that of the 10 examinees from MMSU, five were members of Class 2008. Of this number, three made it to the new list of agricultural engineers.
The rest of the test takers were members of previous batches. Only one of them passed the examination.
The new agricultural engineers are: Hazel James P. Agngarayngay, Erikson B. Biag, Bobby Y. Lived, and Mitchie Ann G. Sibucao.
The graduates’ performance this year is significantly higher than the 2007 result which was only 25 percent.
Manzano thanked the present administration for its support to the department as he vowed to continually seek possible ways to improve further their graduates’ performance in the said licensure examination.
