Ten MMSU automotive faculty complete specialized Toyota transmission training

Ten faculty members of the MMSU Automotive Department completed the specialized short course on Automatic Transmission and Transaxle Servicing conducted by the Toyota Motor Philippines School of Technology, Inc. (TMP Tech) from June 3 to 5 in Laguna.
Participants from the College of Industrial Technology included Department of Automotive Technology Chair Dr. Jayson Tebes, Dr. Zaldy Fernandez, Prof. Ferdinand Huenda, Mr. Dave Dahilig, Mr. Mike Jimenez, Mr. John Benedict Manding, Mr. Jeferson Miranda, Mr. Michael Vincent Oalog, Mr. Christopher Sales, and Mr. Larmy Ubasa.
During the three-day training program, participants engaged in lectures and hands-on activities to enhance their competencies in the operation, maintenance, and servicing of transmission and transaxle systems.
On behalf of his fellow participants, Dr. Tebes thanked TMP Tech for giving them the opportunity to learn more about the new technologies and practices in the automotive industry. He shared that the training will not only improve their instructional practices but also help equip their graduates with the skills necessary for employment.
โThis training program by TMP Tech will help us improve the quality of instruction in our department. In turn, this will strengthen our studentsโ technical competencies, which will ensure their employability in the rapidly changing automotive industry,โ Dr. Tebes said.
TMP Tech is a technical-vocational institution that specializes in automotive education and training. It regularly conducts skills development programs for automotive practitioners, trainers, and educators across the country.
