Gender-Responsive Management and Coordination
Mariano Marcos State University (MMSU) strengthens its commitment to gender equality through a Gender-Responsive Management and Coordination System (MCS) that ensures the harmonized implementation of GAD mandates across all colleges, units, and partner institutions. This system reinforces shared leadership in the strategic planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of GAD programs, projects, and activities (PPAs). By establishing an efficient organization structured and adopting coordinated processes, MMSU guarantees that GAD initiatives are executed on time, within-budget, and with full transparency.
Anchored in key national GAD laws – such as Magna Carta of Women (RA9710), Anti-Sexual Harassment Act (RA 7877), Safe Spaces Act (RA 11313), and other gender-responsive issuances – this MCS ensures that MMSU students and employees are provide with a safe, inclusive, and gender-fair environment; accessible support services and protection mechanisms; equal opportunities for participation and development; and strengthened safeguards against all forms of gender-based discrimination, harassment, and violence.
