OFFICIAL STATEMENT OF THE UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT ON THE ONLINE ENROLLMENT SYSTEM

To Our Dear Students, Faculty and Staff, and All Concerned,

In our effort to transform our services and systems, we are instituting the Online Enrollment System starting this semester. It is our hope that through this system, we will have a more efficient and user-friendly enrollment process.

Unfortunately, we are experiencing the “birthing pains" of having a new system. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused on your part. Please know that we are addressing your concerns, and please note the following:

Readiness of the System. The Online Enrolment System was pilot implemented, with the BS Physical Therapy students in December. After the successful pilot implementation, issues were addressed to prepare the system for full-scale implementation this Second Semester, AY 2017-2018.

Accessibility Concerns. Concerns that cropped up in the past days have been due to heavy user traffic. This is caused in part by the large volume of students trying to access the portal, and by faculty who are submitting grades online using the same server. Please note that the submission of grades have been extended until January 3, which is also the reason some grades were not yet available at the time you checked them. The latter was not anticipated, as the original deadline for submission was December 27.

Enrollment Schedule. To accommodate all enrollees, the regular enrollment period (without fine) has been extended until January 16. Late registration (with fine) will be on January 17-20. Classes start on January 15.

We ask for your cooperation and understanding. As one MMSU family, let us work toward transforming our beloved university. Should you have any further concerns or encounter problems during the enrollment process, please let us know. Kindly direct your inquiries ONLY to the Information Technology Center (Cellphone Number: 09072375951; email: itc-support@mmsu.edu.ph).

Thank you.
