MMSU joins SUC Expo 2020
MMSU is one of the 55 state universities and colleges in the country currently participating in the Art of SUCcess: 2020 State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) Expo being held at the Activity Center of Trinoma Mall in Quezon City from March 9-11.
In the event, MMSU is displaying its products, such as, nipa-hol (nipa-based alcohol), black garlic, e-bamboo, Abel Iloko, sugarcane vinegar, longganisa, and sand-cooked peanut.
MMSU President Shirley C. Agrupis said the university products being featured in the Expo are “an evidence of the resiliency and creativity of the Ilocanos,” adding that these sparked interest among students, government officials, lifestyle enthusiasts, businessmen, and partner-agencies.
With the theme, “Innovation. Passion. Connection,” the SUC Expo 2020 serves as a platform to showcase the innovativeness of various SUCs, their dedication to promote research-based products, and the ingenuity of the people. This event is organized by the Commission on Higher Education. (by D.P. Tapaoan, Jr.)
