TWO MEMBERS of the MMSU Shooting Team was recognized by the 1st Regional Community Defense Group of the Army Reserve Command based at Camp Lt. Tito B. Abat in Manaoag, Pangasinan for emerging champion in two categories in the 5th Regional PA ROTC Pistol and Rifle Shooting Competition, Aug. 4.

Cadet David John T. Rondal was adjudged champion in the .22 caliber rifle category while Cadet Godfrey C. Alimbuyuguen emerged the same in the .45 caliber pistol category.

As winners, they will represent Region I and CAR in the National ROTC Shooting Competition on Sept. 20-22 at the Camp Riego de Dios in Tanza, Cavite.

In a letter, Lt. Col. Rodolfo A. Garcia, ROTC commandant, requested President Miriam E. Pascua that the two winners be given cash incentives to be taken out from the Student Development Fund.  The president nodded.
