<P><FONT face=Verdana size=5><STRONG>Nursing student tops ROTC speech tilt</STRONG></FONT></P>

A FIRST YEAR nursing student bagged the top plum in the 8th Regional Philippine Army ROTC Speech Contest held Aug. 12 at the Teacher’s Camp in Baguio City.

Cleofer P. Versoza outranked all seven contestants from other ROTC units of Region I and CAR.  She expounded her piece that revolved on the contest theme “ROTC: Training the Youth for a Progressive Nation”.  She was coached by Prof. Constante C. Salasac who also wrote the oratorical piece.  Prof. Arsenio T. Gallego served as co-coach.

Versoza received a trophy and a certificate and will represent Region I and CAR to the national finals to be held in the National Capital Region this September
