THE FIRST Philippine Mt. Everest Team led by Leo Oracion and Erwin “Pastour” Emata accompanied by Expedition Leader Art Valdez, is scheduled to hold a symposium at the Teatro Ilocandia on Saturday, July 8 at 9 a.m.

Here, they will share their experiences and project images of their training and of Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world.

The team’s coming to Ilocos Norte is part of the victory tour initiated for them by the Philippine Airlines Mountaineering Club.

They are also scheduled to visit other key cities and provinces in the country to thank all Filipinos for their support and prayers for a successful climb of the highest mountain in the world.

The scheduled visit is also in time for the return of the Philippines Airlines service to Laoag City.
