<font style="font-weight: bold;" size="5">MMSU Team rules 1st Prov’l Taekwondo Championship</font>

THE STERLING performance of the MMSU Taekwondo Team got the breakthrough overall championship when they axed all their opponents in the 1st Ilocos Norte Provincial Taekwondo Championship conducted by the Philippine Taekwondo Association Regional Affairs Committee and the Pagudpud Taekwondo Club at the Pagudpud Cultural and Sports Complex, Sept. 28-29.

Of MMSU’s 27 jins, 24 successfully displayed their mettle against their equally strong and passionate opponents when they logged the highest number of medals garnered in all the weight categories:  8, gold; 9, silver; and 7, bronze.

Following is the list of individual feats: Gold:  Hanna Joy Navarro (CIT), Jeramae Padron (CBEA), Kia Biado (CHS), Ralf Jelv Sentinellar (COE), Dashiel Joy Singson (CAS), Cristel Lucas (CAS), Caixiara Guerrero (CAS), Rae Arjela Jennifer Niduaza (CAS);

Silver:  Maria Cleofe Bumagat (CHS), Jessel Jordan Sentinellar (COE), Lea Andres (CBEA), Ernie Joy Ronduen (CAF), Raymond Valencia (COE), Louie Ballesteros (CBEA), JMartin Lucas (CAS), Dan Eiritz Tablac (COE), Reymund Adina (COE);
