<P><FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=5><STRONG>MMSU scores high in civil eng’g exam </STRONG></FONT></P>

GRADUATES of the civil engineering program of the university turned in the usual outstanding performance in the latest licensure examination administered by the Professional Regulation Commission.

Of the 33 examinees, 25 passed, giving MMSU a 76 percent passing rate.    The national passing average was 44.37 percent.

Among the top ten passers, Esenn Djann G. Alonzo placed fourth with a score of 97.55 percent; and Nolan C. Concha, sixth, with a rating of 96.65 percent.

The other passers were:  Loribel O. Abalos, Alwin G. Acupan, Erick A. Baptista, Vic B. Bernardino III, Rowell U. Clarin, Mar Joseph O. Coloma, Josemil G. Dul-loog, Ricel Joy D. Escamilla, Cesar Francis V. Flores Jr., Edison C. Garvida Jr., Jay T. Grande, Joeriz M. Ignacio, Jonathan B. Luis, Arlene F. Mabini, Paul Angelo O. Manalang, Noirene O. Mandac, Rely G. Mercado, Michell T. Rabanal, Regina Claire A. Reyes, Dave Angelo A. Taala, Rowell D. Tarampi, Wisley R. Tumamao, and Mark Lesther M. Vidad.

Meanwhile, in the chemical engineer’s licensure examination conducted Nov. 6-8, two of 15 examinees passed, giving MMSU a 13 percent passing rate. The national record was 54 percent or 310 of 566 examinees. The new chemical engineers are Glamour Perez and Benedict Santos.
