COMMISSION on Higher Education (CHED) Executive Director William C. Medrano in a letter to President Miriam E. Pascua informed about MMSU’s selection as recipient of the Philippine Library E-Library (Phil E-Lib) Phase II Project.
As such, the university will serve as one of the Phil E-Lib kiosks in the country. With this, MMSU shall receive two sets of HP desktop computers and a free subscription to EBSCO, a foreign multidisciplinary database of electronic journals and books. To have electronic access to EBSCO, MMSU was advised by CHED to provide the static public IP of the University Main Library to be registered to EBSCO.
The president has advised Information and Communication Training Center Director Wilmer Francisco to coordinate with University Library System Director Lucena Felipe on how they can pick up said computers upon advice of CHED.
