<FONT face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size=5><P align=left><STRONG>MEP appoints new CHS acting dean, secretary</STRONG></P></FONT>
PRESIDENT Miriam E. Pascua on May 29 designated Prof. Teresita O. Tinio and Ms. Lailani S. Galutira as acting dean and new secretary, respectively, of the College of Health Sciences.
This developed as Dean Violeta M. Glova is still on leave and College Secretary Ella J. Yoro is currently working on her papers for work in the United States.
Professor Tinio holds an assistant professor rank and currently enrolled in the doctor of education program of MMSU. She finished her nursing degree from De Ocampo College of Nursing in 1981 and her master of arts in nursing from MMSU in 1999.
Ms. Galutira, on the other hand, is a product of the university having finished her nursing degree in this institution in 1991.Before she pursued her master in health professions education at the University of the Philippines in Manila which she finished in 2000, she first took master of arts in nursing at MMSU where she completed all her academic requirements. She currently holds the rank of instructor III.
