FOUR graduates have made it to the new roster of foresters in the country after passing the Licensure Examination for Foresters given by the Professional Regulation Commission, July 9-17.
They are: Leo A. Baliscao, Kelly G. Bumanglag, Cromwell Jones G. Cumlat, and Edward M. Mateo. Baliscao and Mateo are members of Class 2007 while Bumanglag and Cumlat graduated in summer 2007.
The graduates posted a passing percentage of 57.14 percent – 17.66 percent higher than the national record of 39.48 percent representing 199 passers of 504 examinees. This is the third year that MMSU has surpassed the national passing mark.
The new foresters will take their oath before the Board of Forestry, Aug. 10, at the PRC Auditorium in Manila.
Forestry Department Chair Jose T. Agustin thanked the administration for providing free transportation service for the examinees when they went for review at the Nueva Vizcaya State University, when they filed their application for examination, and when they finally took the test in Baguio City.
