RECOGNIZING the need to provide additional financial support to MMSU to compensate for the non-increase in tuition and other fees for School Year 2006-2007, the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) has allocated P2,518,320 as Tuition Fee Support Fund (TFSF).
Contained in a memorandum of agreement signed recently between CHED Chair Carlito S. Puno and MMSU President Miriam E. Pascua, the TFSF is granted by CHED to MMSU “to upgrade the university’s capability and sustain development efforts towards meeting challenges of producing required manpower resources needed for accelerated national development”.
As grantee, MMSU is expected to properly utilize the fund and see to it that it is used for the intended purposes subject to usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations. CHED, through its monitoring and evaluation team, will, in turn, see to it that the fund will be used properly.
