PRESIDENT Miriam E. Pascua in a memorandum she issued Aug. 14 instructed all deans, directors, and heads of units to fix their work schedules so that they and their respective staff can attend “Hataw na” sessions every Friday, 4 p.m., starting Aug. 18 at the basketball court, University Sports Complex.
The activity is still in response to the order of the Civil Service Commission for a healthy workforce in government. It is also the present administration’s show of concern for employees’ health and overall welfare.
Ballroom dancing, taebo, aerobics, and other physical fitness activities will compose the program. The Physical Education and Sports Development Office will take the lead in these activities.
Employees are advised to attend in their sports attire and bring necessities plus their enthusiasm to sustain good health.
